What furniture do you assemble?
All major flat-pack brands — IKEA, Argos, Wayfair, Made.com, Dunelm, Habitat, John Lewis, AO.com, Amazon and more. Wardrobes, beds, sofas, desks, shelving, drawers, TV units — anything flat-packed.
How quickly can someone come out?
Same-day slots are available subject to availability. We confirm your slot by WhatsApp within 15 mins of your request. You can also schedule up to four weeks ahead.
How does payment work?
When you book, we place a hold on your card for the fixed price — like a hotel or car-hire deposit. No money moves yet. Once your assembler finishes the job and you confirm you’re happy, the hold becomes a charge. If anything goes wrong and we can’t complete the build to your standard, we release the hold and you pay nothing. All processed through Stripe — your card details never touch our servers.
Why do you need my card if you’re not charging me yet?
Two reasons. First, it lets us guarantee you a slot — we book a vetted assembler and block out their day for you, so we need a small commitment in return. Second, it means no awkward payment moment when the job’s done. Your assembler builds, you give the thumbs-up, and the hold converts to a charge automatically. Same fixed price you saw at booking, no hidden anything.
What if I’m not happy with the work?
No fix, no fee — and we mean it. If your assembler can’t get the job to a standard you’re happy with, we release the card hold on the spot and you pay nothing. No arguments, no admin, no awkwardness. The mechanism is built into the payment itself.
Is the price final or just a quote?
The price shown is the final, fixed price. No hidden charges, no hourly rates. When you book we place a Stripe pre-authorisation hold on your card for that exact amount — nothing more is ever charged.
Can I cancel or reschedule?
Yes — free cancellation up to 24 hours before your slot. We release the hold on your card and you’re charged nothing. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a £20 admin fee, which we capture from the existing hold.
Is my card information safe?
Completely. Card details are entered directly into Stripe’s secure payment field — we never see or store them. Stripe is the same payment processor used by Amazon, Deliveroo, ASOS and most major UK businesses. They’re regulated by the FCA and PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant (the highest tier).
Do I need to provide tools?
No — our assemblers bring everything needed. Just have your furniture unboxed if possible, though we can help with that too.
